What movie are you watching

Kristin,

I'm sure it's because you're used to listening to the German synchronization and not his real voice. I have the opposite problem when I'm on a visit in Germany and watch an US show on German TV... all the dubbings sounds so fake and artificial! :)

same here. when i am in germany i refuse to watch any (dubbed) american movie or show. horrible.

anyway, there is some better use for spending my time in germany than watching tv

You're probably right. Typically I don't mind hearing the actors speaking different languages, but then I started to watch "Grey's Anatomy" while I was living in the US and that show I absolutely can't watch in German. It starts with they way the pronounce "Anatomy" before the show actually starts and all the actor voices sound sooo wrong. :ohno

People, the original voices have character!
